• The devotions in this book begin with the first Sunday in Advent and end on Christmas day, December 25. There is a devotional for each day.

• Rachel Cook: Activity Writer: Rachel attends the Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she serves as worship leader and works with the youth. Rachel serves on the Presbytery's Board of Christian Education and is an elected member on the Discipleship Ministry Team. She is employed as a Care Coordinator for Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare. Rachel is the proud mother of twin 12 year-old daughters, Mary and Lydia. They reside in Scottsboro, Alabama, with their precious dogs, Pepper and Barney.
• Billy Dial: Cover Design Artist: Billy began painting after he retired from National Life and General Electric Information Services about six years ago. He is originally from Culleoka, Tennessee, and he graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. Billy has lived in Brentwood, Tennessee for 44 years, and is a member of the Brenthaven Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is the father of two children, grandfather of four, and great grandfather of one, and recently celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with Barbara.
• Leanne Kerner: Activity Writer: Leanne is currently working on her Master of Divinity degree from Memphis Theological Seminary and holds an undergraduate degree from Bethel University. Leanne enjoys leading a very full life of serving God through the Cumberland Presbyterian Church wherever possible. In her spare time, Leanne enjoys traveling, reading, Pinterest, and all things blue.
• Joanna Simmerman: Activity Writer: Joanna works as the Youth & Children's Director at the Bowling Green Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Kentucky. She was a part of the Center for Youth Ministry Training program based in Nashville, and she graduated from Memphis Theological Seminary in 2013 with a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry. She loves superheroes, alpacas, snow, and bouncy balls.
• Rev. Joy Warren: Worship Liturgy Writer: Joy is the Associate Pastor at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Each day she tries to wait and wonder about what God is calling her toward that day. She gives special thanks to her husband Rev. Chris Warren and kids Emma and Micah, who share with her in various ministry projects. She is also grateful for their German Shepherd, Doc, who gives her big snuggly hugs when those projects sometimes seem overwhelming.
• Charelle Batts Webb: Activity Writer: Charelle is an elder at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Houston, Texas, where she also serves as the church's treasurer. She and her husband, James, are parents to three awesome kids, own a business together, and spend the best week of their year serving as counselors at Trinity Presbytery's youth camp.
• Joanna Wilkinson: Graphic Designer: Joanna is originally from rural Southwest Missouri, now resides in Nashville with her husband Neal, and serves in Youth Ministry at Brenthaven Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. She holds an undergraduate degree is in Graphic Design, and graduated in 2013 from Memphis Theological Seminary and the Center for Youth Ministry Training with a Master's in Youth Ministry. Joanna is an elected team member for the Discipleship Ministry Team and serves in numerous roles for presbyterial and denominational camps, CPYC, Faith in 3D, and Triennium.
