This curriculum is designed by the PC(USA) to equip students to employ the study of scripture, tradition, and church, to tell their own story as Christian believers in the context of their local congregational experiences. Coming from the same Reformed Theology tradition, this curriculum can easily be adapted for use by Cumberland Presbyterians. At its core are the four big questions asked at confirmation/public profession of faith:

• Trusting in the gracious mercy of God, do you turn from the ways of sin and renounce evil and its power in the world?
• Who is your Lord and Savior?
• Will you be Christ's faithful disciple, obeying his word and showing his love?
• Will you devote yourself to the church's teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and the prayers?

There are 12 lessons in this curriculum. This home/mentor guide is for use by parents and/or the mature Christian assigned to mentor the confirmand through the confirmation process.
