The Life and Thought of Milton Bird: An Apologist for Cumberland Presbyterian Theology by Joe Ben Irby. Bird is generally credited with keeping the Cumberland Presbyterian Church together during the Civil War and with mending the wounds in the church after the war. As with other books in this series, about half this one is devoted to Bird's life and about half to his theology.
