Language and Symbolism have always been an integral part of Christian worship. In recent years, liturgical reformers seeking to increase openness and inclusiveness and to learn ecological domination, patriarchy, and racial hierarchy have replaced some traditional terms- for example, "Lord," "kingdom," and "kingship" have become "sovereign," "realm," and "reign."
