This workbook is designed to be used in two ways, by two different people: by the elder who will be serving as Communion Celebrant and the ordained minister assigned to train elders in serving as Communion Celebrants. The bulk of the workbook (the right-hand side of the book) is the general text for elders to read and follow. The sidebars (the left-hand side of the book) are notes and times for those training elders to use as a training design. Trainers can also use these sidebars to write their own notes that they may want to stress in their training.
